This seminar is an introductory one to a perspective and way of working that considers psychopathology from a phenomenological and Gestalt therapy point of view, in a relational, contextual and field dimension. The keywords are awareness, presence, support.
Psychopathology as a word means "speech about the suffering of the soul" and this kind of suffering implies different ways of being present/absent both in everyday life and in the therapeutic session.
Moreover, since individual suffering is indissolubly entangled with the wider social field, the cultural dimension is a necessary ground to understand the clinical phenomena. The historical changes in societies cause changes in the way the suffering-of-the-soul takes shape.
In this seminar we will revisit the concepts and experiences of psychotic and neurotic suffering, starting from our contemporary society as well as from a Gestalt therapy and phenomenological perspective.
We will also introduce the concept and experience of personality disorders (we can call them personality dimensions), an essential focus in our practice and an essential key to understand contemporary forms of suffering.

335 EUR paid in two installments.
