About us - how it started and how it is now
Gestalt Training (GT) began its activities in 2017, when three psychotherapists who shared a passion for therapy and the Gestalt approach - Ania Małecka, Justyna Sienkiewicz-Urbaniak and Olga Tokarska-Bąk - decided to create a place of development for psychotherapists and open more Polish Gestalt to international experience. At that time important was, on the one hand, the need for independence and, on the other hand, the desire to work together in the area of further professional development.
Our first invitation came to Elinor Greenberg, who taught her approach in the area of personality adaptation - Elinor accepted our invitation twice. Subsequent guests we have worked with to this day were Gianni Francesetti, Carmen Vazquez-Bandin, Peter Philippson, Lynne Jacobs, Jean Marie Robine, Michela Gecele, Stan Dudow, Miriam Taylor, Carmen Joanne Ablack, Mariano Pizzimenti, Julianne Appel-Opper.
The growth and positive returns ,that what we were doing made sense to the Polish Gestaltist community, fed us a lot and caused us to organize both single workshops and series.
Also, we began to encourage and invite Polish colleagues who were training intensively to collaborate and share their experiences. And so our invitations were accepted by Agata Urbanowicz, Agnieszka Piwko, Dominik Sałdak, Agnieszka Pixi Frączek. Also Ania, Justyna and Olga realized on workshops or therapeutic trainings.
In 2023 it was time for a change. Olga and Justyna decided to close for themselves the co-creation of Gestalt Training and Ania, remaining further in the creation of the GT space, considered how to further develop the place after 6 years. Here came Agnieszka Baldauf with the initiative and openness to join in the further development and co-creation of the development space on Polish Gestaltists. Thus, since July 2024, Gestalt Training has been co-created by Ania Malecka and Agnieszka Baldauf - the cycle of 7 years has closed and the next one is opening. So we invite you to continue exploring what it will bring.
See you at workshops
